Demonstrates the heart of a Servant Leader
Has experience with recovery—either through personal experience, through a family member or close friend, or working with people in recovery in a social service capacity
Spiritually maturing in a visible way
Has thorough understanding of the vision and mission of Reset, as well as a general understanding of the existing Reset program.
Exemplify the standards that the house represents, specifically a humble, Christ-centered servant’s heart, integrity in his/her personal life, and serious conviction about the importance of your sobriety.

Be present for house meetings, Bible Studies, recovery meetings as well as Hangout Nights, Work Days, and outreach
Ensuring House Rules and Structure
Administer discipline (strikes) and remove residents from house that have received three strikes or broken the Sober Living Contract of the house
Conduct House Meetings based on the current needs of the house (cleaning, chemistry of residents, thank-you letters, etc.)
Plan, coordinate, and execute the Hangout Nights
Maintain drug testing schedule and testing
Supporting Residents’ Recovery and Success in the Six Essentials
Work one-on-one with the residents of the house for case management, guiding them individually through the program plan
Collect rent and make sure that the residents are up to date on their rent; assign financial coaching to those that are having difficulty with rent
Overseeing Daily Operations & Overall Health of the House
Resolve conflicts with residents
Spend time with residents to foster an environment for community (check-ins, reviews, impromptu conversations hanging out)
Schedule House Chores, check whether the chores were done each week, and discuss any deficiencies with residents.
Call House Meetings as necessary between weekly house meetings to relay important information or to resolve issues within the house.
Get rooms, keys/codes, and welcome baskets ready for new residents
Lead the screening process to find new residents. This includes interviewing prospective residents, doing background checks and drug screens, and making prospective residents fully aware of what to expect while in the house.
Communication & Coordination
Coordinate with Volunteers and Administrative Assistant to ensure that the Bible Studies, House Meetings, and Recovery Meetings are scheduled with facilitators
Provide a weekly update to volunteers on current events and any resident changes (new or existing residents)
Connect residents to resources in the community
