Job Summary

The Program Manager will oversee the coordination and administration of all aspects of ongoing programming for From Fatherless to Fearless, including planning, organizing, staffing, training, and leading program activities.

To empower and equip women (including teen girls) with strained or absent father relationships on their journey to healing and wholeness.

To become fatherless women’s most trusted resource.

Responsibilities

Under the immediate direction and guidance of the CEO, the Program Manager will be responsible for:

  1. The efficient and effective management and implementation of all signature and single mom programming to include:
    1. Direct management of program facilitators, including onboarding, training, coaching, and evaluation
    2. Managing partner relationships
  2. Develop new programming with input from CEO or Executive Director.
  3. Vet potential complementary partnerships for future workforce development programming.
  4. Provide a monthly news insert for our external newsletter.
  5. Schedule and plan special events related to program exposure (community tables, etc.)
  6. Assist in developing grant applications or proposals by providing any requested program information.
  7. Facilitate signature program for at least two cohorts per semester.
  8. Work in the field observing and coaching other program facilitators at least one day each week.
  9. Attend relevant professional development opportunities as directed by CEO or Executive Director.
  10. Other duties assigned by the CEO or Executive Director.

Other Skills

Knowledge of: Microsoft products (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.),

Skilled in: personal computers and laptops; creative thinking and conceptualization; messaging, good verbal and written communication skills, and detail oriented.

Ability to: carry out simple instructions; deal with abstract but mostly concrete variables; prepare meaningful, concise, and accurate reports; use proper research methods in gathering data; arrange items in numerical or alphabetical order; collect, collate, and classify information about data, people, and things.

  • Make Decisions: Assess situations to determine the importance, urgency, and risks, and make clear decisions that are timely and in the organization's best interests.

Qualifications

  • Personally, experienced an absent or strained relationship with your father
  • Willing to share your personal journey throughout the program
  • Must have social and emotional learning (SEL) understanding
  • Ability to positively engage adolescent girls
  • 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, and follow up skills
  • Demonstrates an entrepreneurial mindset with strong ability to think ahead
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment, sharing information, ideas, and effective practices
  • 2 years of experience delivering youth leadership programming a plus
  • Specialized knowledge in girls’ developmental needs and experience a plus

Working Conditions

  • Office environment, but the organization's mission may sometimes take you to non-standard workplaces
  • School classrooms with heightened security
  • Occasionally standing for long periods of time
