Program Coordinator/Liaison – Curated Book Distribution Program
The Program Coordinator/Liaison for our Curated Book Distribution plays a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality, curated books to schools for use and enjoyment by students and their families. This individual works alongside key members of the Curated Book Distribution team to build strong relationships while supporting all aspects of the ordering, fulfillment, and delivery process. The role requires strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills to ensure a seamless and positive experience for all partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Relationship Management & Support
- Serve as liaison for teachers and school partners participating in the curated book distribution program
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with educators and school staff
- Support onboarding of new schools, including guiding them through processes and setting expectations
- Provide timely, responsive support by addressing questions, resolving issues, and troubleshooting orders
Program Coordination & Operations
- Manage and monitor book orders to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely processing
- Collaborate with internal team members to coordinate inventory, packing, and fulfillment
- Identify and resolve order discrepancies or logistical challenges
Logistics & Delivery Coordination
- Work closely with delivery partners to schedule and execute efficient deliveries
- Coordinate with volunteer coordinator for timely and efficient packing, shelving, and distribution of orders
- Ensure clear communication across all stakeholders to support smooth operations
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and partner experience
- Gather feedback from educators and partners to inform program enhancements
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities with attention to detail
- Effective problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Clear and professional communication (written and verbal)
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Experience in program coordination, education, nonprofit work, or logistics preferred
- Comfort working collaboratively across teams and with external partners
Additional Details
- Monday–Friday, 30 - 35 hours per week (Part-time or Full-time considered)
- Occasional evenings, weekends
