Job Summary

Centennial is seeking a dynamic and engaging Program & Evaluation Manager to provide leadership to a Cincinnati nonprofit. The Program & Evaluation Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing initiatives to enhance our client's mission to make high-quality preschools accessible to all children.  The ideal candidate will excel at project management, possess noteworthy communication and interpersonal skills, and easily interact with people of all backgrounds.

Job Description

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Provide oversight for the organization’s wage initiatives including Teacher Promise Grant, Staff Support Fund, Teacher Completion Grant 
  • Manage implementation of special projects and initiatives 
  • Build relationships with partner organizations that offer activities for preschool children and parents 
  • Maintain a dashboard of KPIs to track the organization’s progress 
  • Serve as staff support to the Cost of Quality Committee of the Board and the Data and Evaluation Workgroup 
  • Partner with the Deputy Director to manage external evaluation and relationship with selected Evaluator 
  • Advance the organization’s ability to report program results and community impact, in partnership with the communications team 
  • Serve as a liaison to various Cincinnati early childhood education community stakeholders 

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred; ideal candidate will have education and experience related to social science, early education systems, or related fields 
  • Demonstrated success in project planning and management, with project management certification a plus 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects at one time 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Self-starter; self-directed 
  • Culturally credible with ability to interact with people of all backgrounds 
  • Strong inclination for working collaboratively 
  • Experience translating data from multiple data systems into learning and policy 
  • Ability to field inquiries and manage excellent customer relations 
  • Enthusiasm for the mission of expanding access to high-quality, community-based, preschool as well as growing the pipeline of dedicated and skilled preschool educators 
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, databases, and related technologies
