Job Summary

The Cincinnati Concours d'Elegance Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charity organization, seeks an 
Executive Director to manage operations of the annual nationally-recognized Cincinnati 
Concours d’Elegance collector car show at Ault Park and ancillary events. The Concours 
d’Elegance is the oldest show of its type in the United States outside of the west coast. Proceeds 
from the Foundation’s events benefit Juvenile Arthritis programs of the Arthritis Foundation and 
other charities. The Executive Director will report to and work closely with the Foundation 
President and will be responsible for development, event planning, operations and program 
management, communications, and administration. 

Job Description

Responsibilities:
• Assist in developing and implementing plans and annual goals for the organization.
• Work closely with the President to create and manage annual budget.
• To ensure efficient operations, manage staff, which includes an associate director, 
development director, contractors, and numerous volunteers.
• Act as an ambassador for the organization within the concours, automotive, philanthropic, 
and local Cincinnati communities.
• Fulfill duties as assigned by the Foundation President and Board of Directors.
• Create reports and submit them to the President and the Board of Directors.
• Manage all sources of revenue with regard to respective events: sponsorships, ticket sales, 
raffle proceeds, charitable donations, etc.

 

Desired Stregnths:
• Passion for special events planning, the city of Cincinnati, and helping people through 
philanthropy.
• Proven experience as Executive Director or other similar position.
• Familiarity with non-profit policies and procedures.
• Excellence in verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Windows)
• Ability to adjust to diverse needs of event participants, sponsors, vendors, volunteers, and 
the Board of Directors.
• Team player with superior client and organizational skills.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Skills should include demonstrated leadership ability, personnel management, and strong 
interpersonal skills
