Job Summary

Provide administrative support as needed to the Education Coordinator and assist with student recruitment.

 

Job Description

Classification: Full-Time, Non-Exempt, 40 hours/week , M-F, 10:00 – 6:30 p.m. during the school year,

8:30 a.m.-4:30 during the summer day camp program and 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. when program is not in session.

 Salary:  $19.00 per hour + a fantastic benefit package*

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • An understanding of and passion for The Salvation Army’s mission and ministry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education required
  • Strong experience using Microsoft Excel; ability to create spreadsheets, formulas, charts, tables, etc.
  • Strong experience using current Microsoft Office software such as Word and PowerPoint
  • Proficient writing, time management, speaking and organizational skills.
  • Two-plus years of working with elementary/middle school aged children.
  • One or more years of working in an afterschool program setting preferred.
  • Current first aid, CPR, communicable disease, and child abuse training preferred.

  • Ability to maintain ODJFS standards for employees and program operation if applicable.
  • A valid Ohio Driver’s license and the ability to obtain and maintain driving privileges per Salvation Army insurance standards.
