About Us:

Ken Anderson Alliance is a 501(c)(3) that is a dedicated and impactful non-profit organization committed to providing a quality of life that enables adults with disabilities to develop and sustain lifelong relationships, independence, and self-esteem while contributing to the larger community. Our work aims to provide transferable workforce development skills through our micro-enterprises, connections with others through social outings, volunteering, and special events, and an inclusive community. We believe in creating positive change and are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to lead our programming efforts as the Director of WORK Programming.

Position Overview:

As the Director of WORK Programming, you will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing our organization's WORK programs, initiatives, and micro-enterprises. You will lead a team of passionate professionals to continue our transferable workforce development programs that align with our mission and have a lasting impact on our communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the continued development and implementation of our WORK program strategies, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to identify programming needs, opportunities, and areas for growth.
  • Oversee a diverse range of programs, micro-enterprises, and initiatives that address the needs of our target audience and communities.
  • Manage a team of program managers, employment specialists, and support staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and support for their professional growth.
  • Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs through data analysis, feedback collection, and impact assessment, making necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners, donors, and collaborators to expand the reach and influence of our programs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging issues relevant to our mission, incorporating these insights into program development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, education; Master's degree preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in program management, 2 years in a leadership or managerial role, 2 years of experience in waiver based services
  • Strong passion for and understanding of adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
  • Proven track record of successfully designing, implementing, and evaluating impactful programs.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and goals.
  • Proficiency in project management tools, data analysis, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in the non-profit sector is a plus.

Compensation:

Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications. Benefits including a 401K, PTO, cell phone reimbursement allowance and flexible schedules.
