POSITION OVERVIEW
Reset Ministries seeks a passionate and results-driven Director of Development to lead our fundraising and donor engagement efforts. This role will play a critical role in expanding our donor base, strengthening relationships with current and past supporters, and ensuring the financial sustainability of our ministry. This is a part-time, flexible position ideal for a self-motivated fundraising professional who is inspired by Reset’s mission and ready to make a tangible impact.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Fundraising Strategy & Execution:
Develop, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive fundraising plan to secure new sources of funding, including individuals, businesses, churches, foundations, and grants.
- Donor Engagement:
Build and nurture meaningful relationships with all donors—new, current, and lapsed—through consistent, personalized communication and thoughtful stewardship.
- Event Leadership:
Plan, promote, and execute a successful annual Reset Banquet each spring, working with staff, volunteers, and community partners to maximize attendance and giving.
- Communications:
Craft compelling messages and updates for donors and prospects, sharing stories of transformation and the impact of Reset’s work.
- Database Management:
Maintain accurate records of donor interactions and giving history using donor management software.
- Collaboration:
Work closely with the Executive Director, Board, advisory councils, and other partners to align fundraising efforts with organizational goals.
- Reporting & Accountability:
Track progress toward fundraising goals and provide regular reports to leadership.CORE

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred (e.g., Communications, Nonprofit Management, Business) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising or development
- Familiarity with donor management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience planning and executing fundraising events
- Ability to work remotely and attend occasional in-person meetings/events
- Commitment to the Christian faith and Reset’s mission
