Job Summary

Junior Achievement of OKI Partner’s (JAOKI) has an immediate opening for a Director of Corporate Partnerships in the Greater Cincinnati area. JAOKI’s purpose is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. Junior Achievement reaches nearly 40,000 students annually in relevant, hands-on learning experiences that teach young people to manage their money, plan for their economic future, own their own businesses, and develop readiness for careers or college.

Job Description

We are searching for a Director of Corporate Partnerships with a proven track-record in exceeding fundraising results and strengthening relationships important to furthering the mission of Junior Achievement. As a Corporate Partnership Director, you'll be responsible for managing high-value corporate partnerships and developing long-term strategies to secure multi-year financial support.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Drive new business development revenue on an annual basis. Support the President and development team by working with new and existing corporate donors.
  • Work with local corporations to solicit support of the JA School/Corporate Partnership Program.
  • Annually, meet with each corporate partner with the goal of discussing past and future efforts to best determine their goals and strategies for corporate philanthropy.
  • Responsible for prospecting, researching and cultivating new corporate partnerships to meet the recruitment and fundraising goals.
  • Work with the Foundation Grant Writer to share corporate foundation funding opportunities and serve as the initial point of contact for those companies with foundations.
  • Responsible for providing the highest level of customer service and donor stewardship with the goal of expanding corporate support and volunteer engagement.
  • Collaborate with the program team at JA to further the mission of the organization by connecting program opportunities to corporations.
  • Coordinate with the CEO and SVP of Education to ensure that all corporate partners of multiple JA Inspire to Hire events are being met with to discuss their involvement.
  • Assist in the solicitation of companies for the Cincinnati Hall of Fame.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 4 or more years of corporate fundraising experience.
  • Competitive and results-driven.
  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to work with a variety of constituents including C-Suite executives.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and execute strategy to achieve desired results.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
