About The Cincinnati String Project
Founded in 2015, The Cincinnati String Project is a nonprofit music education organization built around a performing professional string quartet. We present a series of innovative chamber music concerts across Cincinnati, while providing free private lessons and chamber music instruction to more than 60 middle and high school students weekly at Title I schools in Norwood and Winton Woods. In 2026-27, the quartet is also beginning a series of “Very Open Rehearsals,” an opportunity for audiences to not only witness, but participate in, the highly collaborative process of a chamber group.
