Development Coordinator, CAA
The Development Coordinator position plays a vital role in supporting the organization’s fundraising and donor engagement efforts. The primary responsibility of this position is providing administrative support, assisting with day-to-day departmental operations, coordinating stewardship communications and activities, overseeing volunteer engagement, supporting donor communication and sponsorship fulfilment, and assisting with the execution of an annual fundraising event.
The Development Coordinator works collaboratively across departments to ensure donors, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners experience exceptional engagement and recognition while advancing the organization’s philanthropic goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES: General responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assist Development team with day-to-day tasks that support overall fundraising success and donor engagement. Update and maintain accurate accounting of all development related activities and donor information in CRM/Donor Database. Ensure timely and accurate communications to donors and related tasks. Build, run and assist with development reports, donor correspondence, and departmental projects as requested. Support campaign and fundraising initiatives through data management and project coordination as needed. Monitor deadlines and ensure timely completion of development-related projects. Manage Corporate Viewing Suite schedule and requests. Maintain and supply accurate donor lists. Assist in the implementation of the organization’s comprehensive donor stewardship plan. Serve as event coordinator for all donor centered events, including coordinating with internal and external partners, vendors, and partners. Support donor cultivation and fundraising initiatives through research, reporting, and administrative coordination. Serve as project manager for designated annual fundraising event. Coordinate event logistics, timelines, vendor relationships, volunteer assignments, sponsorship activation, guest communications, and on-site execution. Track event revenue, expenses, sponsorships, and donor participation metrics. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure sponsor recognition is executed accurately across print, digital, and event platforms. Work collaboratively with the Volunteer team to coordinate all volunteer needs throughout the year.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of two years’ related experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skill, and abilities.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITY: Knowledgeable in development and fundraising, volunteer management, database management, relationship building, and special events. Knowledge of the arts community and artistic mediums. The ability to collaborate across departments. Exceptional communication skills, both with donors and other partners. The ability to manage timelines and deadlines. A positive approach to problem solving and collaboration.
