Easterseals Redwood’s mission is to advance 100% equity, access, and workforce inclusion for people with disabilities, those facing disadvantages, and veterans. Easterseals Redwood was formed on 8/1/22 when Easterseals Serving Greater Cincinnati and Redwood came together to form one organization with expanded capacity and expertise to provide services to more individuals in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky regions. Our experienced team of nearly 400 people serve more than 7,000 individuals and families through disability services, therapy, assistive technology resources, veteran services, employment assistance, and highly reputable social enterprises. Easterseals Redwood is nearing the end of a $23+MM Power of Work and Power of Purpose transformational campaign to transform and double the square footage of its main campus with the addition of a Veterans Center, and most importantly to create innovative programming to meet the needs of people with disabilities and their families, veterans, and people making their way out of poverty.

The Corporate Relations Manager, a new position, is a frontline fundraising position responsible for developing strategic corporate partnerships which support Easterseals Redwood’s impact in our community. Easterseals Redwood is a $25MM/year organization, with a target of $5MM in philanthropic support over the next three years and a goal to increase 10% per year afterwards. This is an opportunity to be an integral member of our dynamic and growing development team. This role has a goal of securing $550K+ in corporate support annually through sponsorships and corporate gifts.

In partnership with the VP, of Advancement and Veteran Services and the Director of Advancement, the Corporate Relations Manager will direct and implement a comprehensive and robust corporate partnership program with the goal of engaging corporate partners to support Easterseals Redwood through event sponsorships, program or special projects support, and volunteering. The position works closely with marketing to execute all fundraising events, ensuring that special events are well-organized, well-supported, and accurately reflect the mission of Easterseals. Corporate partnerships, as well as special events, will connect supporters to Easterseals Redwood’s mission and raise critical funds needed to achieve our mission and strategic goals. The successful candidate will be an exceptional project manager who can build authentic and rewarding relationships and grow corporate giving each year.

Corporate Related Functions:

Grow and manage a portfolio of corporate partners to enhance and increase partnerships and fundraising goals by identifying prospects, researching, qualifying, cultivating, and securing corporate support. ·

Expand the Easterseals Redwood corporate circle of support by making in-person visits, conducting presentations at external engagement events, speaking to stakeholders over the phone and virtually to develop relationships and secure new support.

Submit sponsorship and corporate partnership proposals with an action plan to gain support and document all sponsorships can complete all necessary paperwork for accounting and operational fulfillment.

Complete a weekly projection plan to demonstrate activities and follow-up with monthly activity reports to demonstrate goal achievements. · Work closely with marketing and events coordinator to execute special events that meet or exceed revenue targets. · Represent the organization at community and networking events. · Work with teams to develop ways to engage corporate partners in a comprehensive way. · Research new ways of doing business that will engage supporters while increasing ROI. · Remaining calm under pressure and with tight timelines, knowing that supporter demands can be unpredictable, and stay positive and creative when plans don’t go as scheduled.

General Functions: · Assists with building long-term capacity for corporate sponsorships and partnerships. · Attends meetings as required by supervisor or agency. · Maintains confidentiality of sensitive subject matter. · Exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works outside of normal schedule as needed to meet workload demands.

Competencies: · Respect for others without regard to race, gender, ethnicity, religion, disability, or other legally protected class. · Acceptable Criminal Background check and Child Abuse & Neglect Registry check. · Required to attend initial orientation and periodic training provided by Easterseals Redwood. · Essential functions require visual/hearing acuity. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.

Qualifications: ·

Bachelor’s degree required. · Minimum two years corporate relations and/or fundraising experience with a proven track record for donor cultivation and solicitation. ·

Experience handling multiple demands simultaneously by organizing, prioritizing competing deadlines to achieve appropriate results, and completing work accurately and timely. Proven ability to produce high-quality results in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment. ·

Experience with donor database, preferably Raiser’s Edge. ·

A flexible schedule, including the ability to work some evenings and weekends. ·

Ability to document identity and employment eligibility within three (3) days of original appointment as a condition of employment in compliance with Immigration Reform and Control Act requirements. ·

Ability to meet background check requirements and supply required documentation as outlined by Easterseals Redwood policies. · State Motor Vehicle Operator’s License and reliable transportation.
