We’re currently searching for an experienced Community Prevention & Wellness Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mind and proven ability to strategize and implement high-level program initiatives. As a natural leader, this person should have strong talent for project coordination and delegation. Ultimately, the Community Prevention & Wellness Coordinator should be motivated by a desire to optimize productivity and nurture program success from inception to completion.
Objectives of this role
- Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives
- Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement
- Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance
- Collaborate with community-based organizations to serve diverse populations and offer evidence-based recreational music making programs
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the CEO, data & program coordinator, and administrative coordinator to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, and timing for new initiatives
- Work with new community-based organizations and schools to be connected to evidence-based programs for afterschool programs, senior living, and special needs populations
- Work with Administrative Coordinator to ensure scheduling is in place for evidence-based recreational music making programs for after school programs, senior living, special needs populations, and community care prevention
- Work with data & program coordinator to analyze facilitator log data and outcomes from standardized surveys of community-based programs and after school programs
- Assist CEO on marketing and fundraising activities for evidence-based recreational music making programs to be expanded in CMWC’s service area
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Two years of non-profit experience with a successful record of accomplishment in organizational and program management
- Demonstrated interpersonal and effective communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work with and incorporate the perspectives and input of a diverse range of people, backgrounds, and skills
- Experience in public relations, outreach, and resource development
Employee Status: Part Time
Hours: Twenty (20) per week
Salary: $26,000 with FICA taxes, OH State taxes, and Worker’s Compensation paid
Hybrid work schedule.
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
