Job Description

Job Title: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Position Overview

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Envision Partnerships provides strategic, operational, and cultural leadership to advance the organization’s mission and long-term vision. The CEO is responsible for driving growth, strengthening partnerships, ensuring financial sustainability, and representing Envision Partnerships to stakeholders, partners, and the broader community.

The Opening

Envision Partnerships CEO is retiring after 40 years of service.  The agency seeks a new CEO to sustain the organization’s momentum and its reach serving over 12,000 individuals annually.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute the organization’s long-term vision, strategy, and goals in alignment with the mission and Board direction.
  • Identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and impact through strategic partnerships and initiatives.
  • Monitor industry trends and adapt organizational strategy accordingly.

Organizational & Operational Management

  • Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure organizational equity, effectiveness, efficiency and equality.
  • Build, lead, and support a high-performing leadership team and direct service staff.
  • Establish and maintain agency policies, systems, processes and certifications that support accountability and excellence.

Partnerships & External Relations

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with partners, funders, clients, and community stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary spokesperson and ambassador for Envision Partnerships.
  • Represent the organization at events, meetings, and public forums.

 Financial Oversight

  • Ensure the financial health and sustainability of the organization.
  • Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation at $2 million annually.
  • Work with the Board to ensure transparent financial reporting and compliance.

Governance & Board Relations

  • Collaborate closely with the Board of Trustees to set priorities and measure organizational performance.
  • Provide timely, accurate information to support effective governance and decision-making.
  • Support Board development and engagement.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven executive or senior leadership experience, preferably in partnerships, nonprofit, social impact, or mission-driven organizations.
  • Strong strategic planning and organizational leadership skills.
  • Experience building and managing partnerships across sectors.
  • Demonstrated financial and operational management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • Professional certification required:  Ohio Certified Prevention Specialist (OCPS) or Consultant (OCPC preferred); Social Work (LSW/LISW), and/or Health Educator (CHES).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience [$90,000-$110,000]
