Job Summary

ACCSWOH Chapter Administrator

Position Summary

Provide strategic and administrative leadership to support the Association of Corporate Counsel Southwest Ohio Chapter Board of Directors in accomplishing the goals established for the chapter while ensuring that the best interests of chapter members remain the primary focus. Serve as the primary liaison between the Chapter and ACC Worldwide Headquarters, providing operational support, coordinating chapter activities, and helping deliver a high-quality member experience.

Primary Responsibilities

Board and Governance Support

  • Support the Board of Directors in achieving the Chapter's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Keep the interests and needs of chapter members at the forefront of all chapter activities and decisions.
  • Attend monthly Board of Directors meetings.
  • Track board action items, monitor progress, and provide reminders or follow-up to board members as needed.
  • Assist board members with administrative and operational support to ensure successful execution of chapter initiatives.

ACC Worldwide Headquarters Coordination

  • Serve as the primary liaison with ACC Worldwide Headquarters.
  • Work collaboratively with ACC Headquarters to ensure the chapter meets all required standards, expectations, and reporting requirements.
  • Participate in weekly ACC Headquarters conference calls whenever possible.
  • Attend ACC annual leadership meetings in various cities, as appropriate.

Chapter Programs and Events

  • Attend CLE programs, networking events, social functions, and other chapter activities.
  • Provide administrative support for chapter events, including:
    • Managing RSVPs and attendee lists
    • Preparing and printing name badges
    • Sending event reminders
    • Distributing pre-event and post-event materials
    • Assisting with event logistics as needed including applying for CLE credits and submitting them for attorneys

Membership Development

  • Monitor new member activity and identify prospective new chapter members.
  • Forward membership opportunities to the Membership Chair for appropriate outreach and follow-up.
  • Support initiatives that strengthen member engagement and retention.

Sponsorship Support

  • Identify potential chapter sponsors and communicate opportunities to the Sponsorship Chair.
  • Work directly with sponsors to coordinate event details, invitations, sponsorship benefits, timelines, and logistics.
  • Track sponsor RSVPs and assist in ensuring successful member participation.

Communications and Marketing

  • Maintain and update the chapter website with current events, programs, and chapter information.
  • Coordinate, organize, and produce the chapter's quarterly newsletter.
  • Prepare communications supporting chapter activities and events.
  • Review LinkedIn content for accuracy and consistency before forwarding posts to the chapter's LinkedIn administrators for publication.

Financial Administration

  • Deposit sponsorship checks in a timely manner.
  • Maintain records of chapter expenses and submit reimbursement documentation to the Treasurer.

Reports to: President and Board of Directors

Position Type: Part-time, flexible schedule

Location: Primarily remote, with attendance required at monthly board meetings, CLE programs, networking events, and other chapter functions in the Cincinnati area.

Time Commitment: Approximately 5–10 hours per week, with occasional additional hours required for chapter events, board meetings, or ACC conferences.

Compensation: Hourly rate commensurate with experience and qualifications.
