Job Description

As the driving force behind the development, promotion, and implementation of our center's programs and activities, you will play a vital role in enriching the lives of our members. Your responsibilities will include creating and organizing programs that contribute to the enjoyment, intellectual stimulation, and psychological well-being of our community.

In this role, you will maintain accurate records, coordinate activities with staff and volunteers, and ensure the smooth execution of our activity calendar. Your proficiency in basic computer skills, including Word, Excel, and website maintenance, will be essential in keeping our communication up-to-date and engaging. As a positive and encouraging representative of MariElders, you will engage in personal interactions within the community and with our members, fostering a warm and welcoming environment. If you have strong organizational skills, the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and are dedicated to meeting the needs of older adults, we invite you to join our team.

To qualify for this position, you should be knowledgeable and sensitive to the needs of older adults, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Your ability to handle situations with flexibility and positivity, coupled with your proficiency in time management, will contribute to your success in this role.
